Do What's Right
Live - Laugh - Love:
First, what is most important... Find the way to peace... Know Jesus; therefore, remember to say "Hi, and Yes!" when it matters most....
Life is short and the older I get the faster it goes and the shorter it gets. Irony...
So a couple of months back, I chose to jump on a leadership training program with Darren Hardy that would start at the beginning of the year, 2021.
Yes, when I want to do something fun, I don't go to the beach, I do an educational program. Yep, that is me! A weird duck...
I was not sure what I would use it for other than to be a better me. I had no idea where and how it would impact me and how I would be able to use it to impact myself and others.
Well, New Year's Eve came with a new proposal. No, not that kind, :)....
I was offered the opportunity to be a nurse educator and incorporate leadership into the program. Yes, the company has its expectations but there is room for creation and the ability to put all I have a passion for together at work. Little did I know that my new year would start with a new purpose and new direction.
It is so exciting.
At the end of my day today, I was informed that a friend and neighbor had passed.
That is always so surreal. I am a hospice nurse. I see death and the process daily.
I recognize that it is a fact of life. Somewhere in this last year with Covid, the pandemic has distorted life and death. The pandemic is in full swing and we have lost sight of living life with joy and we are living life in fear. The pandemic has made people forget that dying is a real part of life. People have forgotten that we are not immortal. Cover is not the only reason people die. There are many diseases and many accidents that happen every day.
The point? Live every day Being Your Best. Remember to tell those you love, I LOVE YOU. And when it is your turn to meet our maker, say HI and YES to Christ.
Let your light shine and make every day count.
