So if I were like the girl from "Julia Julia" I would be blogging every day, but
then you would hear all of my complaints too, nah... So I am about 6 solid pounds down I have been as many as 8 pounds down, swing weight happens. This 90 day challenge is great but I must remember that it is a transformation. The problem is we want the 90th day on day 22. Nothing in life works that way but why is it that we all want it that way!!!! Ugh.
So now it is time to start learning about different health issues to compliment the transformation and to make this 90 day transformation stick. First lets talk about glycemic index. Glycemic what? Yes, foods are rated on the glycemic index. I know that bananas are high. The glycemic index provides a measure of how fast your blood sugar rises after eating that food. Nuts and
beans have lower indexed than white breads or pasta. What this really effects is your insulin. When your glycemic index goes up to fast than insulin kicks in and brings your sugar down, but if it moves too fast you now become hypoglycemic and you go into a crash where you need sugar again. So you see this is a crazy circle. So it is best to be in control!!! Learn what makes you go through
the roof fast and what food items are a slow and steady increase. So with my shakes, I began making shakes with bananas and strawberries and my sister made them with spinach and broccoli. So whose shakes got faster results? Hers did. All I know is that the Visalus shakes are so good that whether you mix them with banana and strawberries or spinach and strawberries, they are both YUMMY!!! and work.
